New Work

I spent the past few weeks designing and printing some t shirts for Blue Lug Inc. in Tokyo. It was great to have an opportunity to add some new work to my shop and portfolio, and really exciting to think that people will be wearing my designs in Japan!

Our new Studio made it much earier to do the more elaborate prints, like this start a revolution shirt, which has four colors.

I even got some pictures of people from the shop in Japan modeling the design I did for them.

Synth - Analog, Digital, Sweet

Lately I've been trying to use every free moment on music. Listening, playing, writing and researching. I havent picked up my guitar much, but have been fascinated with synth production, and tone generating. Once you start, you see how much there is to learn! Anyway, here are some of the coolest things I've seen

There's one of these on craigslist right now.

Doepfer is still making authentic analog modular synthesizers. I want one so bad!

I have been learning little by little as I write, and it has been so much fun. Here is a video of a track I have been working on with my Korg MicroKontrol and Reason

The Things I Know so Far

This month has gotten off to a roaring start! Between filling orders for Portland shops, etsy sales and getting ready for the Crafty Wonderland Holiday Sale (fingers crossed), I have precious little time left to myself. Thanks goodness I love my work! In addition to all this mayhem, I am proud to present my first solo show "The Things I Know So Far". Kettleman Bakery, located at 2235 SE 11th street, was kind enough to offer me their enormous wall space to display my collectionof work, which I have created since arriving in Oregon.

Fire 2010

This past weekend was the annual Fire festival in NW Oregon. Three stages of electronic music over two nights. Backwoods camping, breath taking views, thumping bass, a great weekend.
There is nothing quite like walking through the untouched Oregon forest, high above the clouds, with distant trance music.
